Confession Time

I have a confession to make. I think I am a genius. I have over lunch on more than one occasion solved the world’s problems. I have even over coffee fixed every company I have ever worked for’s core and some minor problems. If only they listened to me I would have created world peace a long time ago.  The real problem is when I have had the occasion to fix those problems I have walked away frustrated by the lack of power I really had to make those changes. I have even gone so far as to fall on my sword, so to speak, only to come away with a hole in my stomach instead of the changes I asked for. They were noble requests, it didn’t matter. What I just had an epiphany about is that the true geniuses are not the ones who identify the problem, but people who can get everyone involved to see the right answer in a way that makes them want to solve it as well. This is where I sorely lack. I have a vision, I need to be able to communicate it in a way that gets others to be a part as well.
