This morning when I got up after letting the dog out, give the cats their treats and making the coffee. I decided I would have eggs. So to the frig I went, grabbed the carton of eggs and opened it up. Something I had not seen before caught my eye. Each egg had a logo on it. Why on God’s green earth does each egg need to have a logo? My brain went to so many strange places. Will someone mistake the brand for some cheap imitation egg? Is someone sneaking around replacing this brands eggs with plastic ones? If I opened this carton and found one without the logo would I close them up and return them to the store? Maybe they are not logos but tattoo’s, they were in fact grade B eggs, perhaps they wanted to prove how bad they are by getting inked? I would like to clarify that I did crack two of them open and scrambled them for an omelet and they did taste just fine so maybe I should not be so hard on my tattooed eggs, maybe they just wanted to be bad! Perhaps I should set up the coffee to be ready when I get up, that way my breakfast thoughts make more sense.
Those are some bad eggs!
